The strange case of Betty and Barney Hill has been a lifetime obsession. As the showrunner of the NBC series "Dark Skies," I wrote the Hills' case into my pilot episode. Later, I learned even more from UFO researcher Stanton Friedman who'd become a friend. Along with all the wonderful material now in the public domain about the case, these articles have been optioned by Stellar Productions for its adaptation into a feature film or limited TV series.

My own research eventually focused on how it was dogged Boston Traveler investigative reporter John Luttrell Sr. who first broke the story, and not book author John Fuller (who actually falsified information in his book, The Interrupted Journey).
